تحلیل عوامل مؤثر بر توسعه گردشگری مبتنی بر تفریحات ورزشی ماجراجویانه درکلان شهر تهران

Adventure sports tourism, as one of the emerging and exciting branches of tourism, has attracted considerable attention from many countries, policymakers, and tourism stakeholders in recent decades. Due to its dynamic nature, this type of tourism plays an effective role in improving individuals’ physical and mental health, enhancing urban quality of life, and motivating participation in physical activities and social engagement. Economically, it is recognized as a key factor in sustainable development by attracting domestic and international tourists, creating new job opportunities, increasing local and national revenues, and developing urban infrastructures. Tehran, given its unique geographical location, climatic diversity, varied topography, and proximity to natural attractions such as mountains, rivers, valleys, forests, and open spaces, holds significant potential for the development of adventure sports tourism, which has not yet been comprehensively utilized. The aim of this study was to identify the factors influencing the development of adventure sports tourism in the metropolitan city of Tehran. The research employed a qualitative method based on deductive-inductive content analysis. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 15 experts in the fields of tourism, sports, environment, and urban planning, as well as through reviewing scientific sources and policy documents. Data analysis led to the identification of 13 key factors and 56 indicators. These factors include political, economic, socio-cultural, technological and innovative, environmental, natural attractions, marketing, education and research, management, human resources, infrastructure, safety and security, and legal and regulatory components. The development of this type of tourism requires institutional coordination, enhanced safety measures, specialized training, public cultural awareness, and the design of targeted policies.
